Discover the fascinating world of bees with our 1 hour Beekeeping Talk in our Bee8 Meadow—an unforgettable opportunity to see where some of our bees live, learn how they communicate and what they do in winter, and gain hands-on insight into the essential role of beekeepers in sustaining our environment.

Clothing: You will need to bring sensible, fully enclosed, outdoor footwear. Wellies are ideal. Walking boots are also a good option. Sandals, flip-flops and high heels are definitely not allowed.
Protective wear: We provide the use of our beekeeping suits and gloves
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class begins. Printed and digital tickets are accepted.
Accessibility: Beekeeping is a highly accessible pastime. It should be enjoyable and relaxing. It also benefits mental health and wellbeing. We have access for wheelchairs. If you’re still not sure and would like some further advice and encouragement, give us a call, or drop in to see us.
Photos: You are welcome to take footage, however you will need to keep your beekeeping suit and gloves on at all times and follow the advice of our beekeepers.

Private Bookings: We offer private bookings on dates and times that suit you. For inquiries, please email us directly.

Please note, the Irish weather can be unpredicatable. Our beekeeping talks[first_name] will commence whether rain or shine and will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. You will be notified of any cancellations prior to your tour. It is rare for us to postpone an experience.
